We want everyone to enjoy the camp, the fishing and the beautiful surroundings, so we ask all our guests to help us preserve what makes this place special.

Peace & Quiet
Trout & About is a nature and fishing retreat, not a party venue.
Please be considerate of fellow guests. Loud music, amplified outdoor music and disruptive parties are not permitted. Around the fishing areas especially, please keep noise to a minimum; trout fishing requires quiet, patience and a little luck!
Absolute quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. During these hours, there should be no music or other noise that can be heard outside your accommodation.
Parties, events and larger gatherings must be arranged with us in advance.
Around the Camp
You’re welcome to explore the grounds, but please respect the privacy of other guests and keep away from their accommodation.
For safety reasons, guests may only enter the forest when accompanied by a Trout & About guide.
Only registered guests and visitors agreed with us in advance may use the camp and its facilities.
Please also respect the privacy of fellow guests when taking photographs or videos.
Fishing & Nature
Fishing is part of the pleasure of being here, but a catch can never be guaranteed. Please respect other anglers, follow the guidance of our team and handle fish responsibly.
Please do not litter, disturb wildlife, damage trees or plants, or leave anything behind in or around the river.
The fish ponds are working ponds and are strictly no-swimming areas.
Swimming & Children
Our swimming pool is more than two metres deep and should only be used by confident swimmers.
Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s safety. Children must be supervised at all times, particularly around the swimming pool, river and fish ponds.
Fires & Our Facilities
Campfires are only permitted in designated areas. Fires must never be left unattended and must be fully extinguished afterwards.
Please treat the camp and its facilities with care, dispose of rubbish in the bins provided and recycle whenever possible.
Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves, their children or their visitors.
Most Importantly…
Enjoy yourself.
Have a drink. Share a meal. Laugh with your friends. Cast a line. Take a walk. Read a book. Sit beside the water and do absolutely nothing.
We simply ask that your enjoyment doesn’t come at the expense of someone else’s.
Let nature provide the soundtrack.
